Different games - Thu 15th November 2007 @ 3:13 pm I really love playing at PKR. I think what they have done with online poker they have taken it to a more realistic enviorment. I only have one problem with it I like playing different forms of poker besides hold'em and Omaha. I like playing Razz and stud games, 2-7 triple draw, 5 card draw, and mixed games like horse,hose. I would really like to see them develop more games and a more realistic tournment structure with antes, rebuys, larger fields, and etc.. Multi tabling at pkr is hard to do i've tried a couple times but i multi table at different sites so that doesn't bother me, Iheard a rumor they might take away having to look at your hole cards which is a big tell or counter tell which would be a travisty. I hope its just a rumor. Just some thoughts as it is the only reason i play at other sites

I agree with you except I only know holdem, omaha and stud. It would only bring PKR more revenue so I'm sure they think the same too.

I guess the problem is that PKR need a big enough and consistent enough player base to make it worthwhile.. At the moment, there's barely enough action on the omaha tables!

I love PKR's multi-tabling! I used to play full tilt, 6 NL-holdem at once but that was just "scientific" play and I might as well have just programmed a bot to do it for me.

At PKR, I can play 4 holdem tables at once and actually play a different game at each because the tables and players are so distinct. I've never tried more than 2 omaha tables at once - and even then I was constantly looking back at my hands.

I couldn't agree more - I highly doubt they're going to do that. Are you sure the rumour wasn't about taking away auto-look at the start of hands? I've turned it off since it's become optional and I really like it that way. I was thinking about writing a post about all the reasons why i like it like that - especially for multi-tabling.

Re: Different games - Sat 17th November 2007 @ 10:08 am yeah, maybe they are waiting for that, but why build a fucking virtual casino, why not improve what u have for the loyal customers that have been here from the start. i started playing here when like 400 people where online on a saturday night, it was close to 7000 last night. i mean they offer rakeback for new custmers but no reload bonus for anyone , but i can't(rakeback) get it because i already have an account and i would need to set up a new one, my image i have created with my current char. plus all the pain staking notes taken are lost and i have to start from scratch (which actually would be kind of fun 'cause u could build a different persona..hmm), improve security for ie collussion and cheating, they could do a ton of other things instead of building a casino for people who can't make it to blackpool on a bus tour.
I think the legislation in the states really hurt them and alot of others, being american, living in the uk and a avid poker player i have the privlage to play here.I really think pkr should just pay attention to market trends, stars and full tilt don't have casinos, they have millon dollar tournments, why is that?
The majority of my bank is made at pkr,but i withdrawl and play in the bigger tournments on other sites, the payouts are just too big to ignore so they have created a false ecconmy for themselves in a sense, I would gladly put my money back in the site if there where more loyality ladden insentives, point scheme is awesome don't change that but more tourneys with higher payouts. I was just really dissappointed to see a casino pop up this week i think they are on a slippery slope. i still fucking love it here, by far the best site i have played on.

I agree. I even posted a comment on the PKR casino site a long time ago saying the same thing. There's definitely a bunch of things they could tweak in the PKR software before they start this whole PKR casino shite - which I'm gonna actively boycott and I hope everyone else does too - I really hate it and I think you're right, it's going to hurt their image. Sort the real PKR out first.

Just make a new one.. You get to do everything all over again. Fresh starts in poker are the best.
