What is rakeback?

It's a cryptic title and unless you have an IQ over 7, you probably haven't guessed yet. OK, wait for it.. Rakeback is when you get rake.. back.. PKR rakeback is when you get rakeback from PKR. And 30% rakeback is.. you get the idea.

$10+$1 becomes $10+$0.70

And it's just as vital - if not more - for cash games where there's rake - at the standard 5% - for every hand that sees a flop. With rakeback, you get 30% of it back every time.

How do I receive my rakeback?

Every month, rakeback is paid straight into your PKR account automatically. It's always a nice surprise when your bankroll adds money to itself for no apparent reason.

Right, how do I get it?

If you don't have PKR yet, that's a good place to start. Click the banner, choose a bonus to go with your rakeback, and download it. PKRfriends50R, PKRfriends250R or PKRfriends600R.

While it's downloading, they'll suggest the PKR01, 02 & 03 bonus codes, none of which come with rakeback so don't bother. You need to have a PKR account and make a first deposit with your PKRfriends bonus code and from then until forever, you're earning rakeback.

I doubt PKR would ban an account.. I think you just wouldn't be able to make a deposit with that card. Not sure though. I'll go try now and tell you what happens.

Yeah no ban.. Just a message: "That card is already registered" - so it's the card that makes the difference.. The PKR account details can be anything.. They only "ask" that you use your real details.

So you could be Cuthbert Von Trumpleton III from Lapland to PKR, as long as the "name on card:" and "billing address" bits are correct (I think).

The moneybookers thing is a great idea - Let me know if it works! But the 2nd deposit(!) with a rakeback bonus code definitely won't work - they only let you have one bonus..

I might try and talk to PKR in the future and see if I can get them to let PKRfriends offer a "reload" bonus code (for second deposits), but I think the rakeback bonus codes (or any other bonus codes) are only allowed for the first deposit.

oh right - sorry I thought you meant use moneybookers for the first deposit on a second PKR account so you could use the same card indirectly.. (with the rakeback bonus code)
